Garena Free Fire

Free Fire Name Style Generator

Free Fire gives you twelve characters and one nickname field, which is not much room to look like anything. The generator below rewrites whatever you type into every stylish font Unicode can produce — cursive, gothic, outlined, bubbled — plus the framed clan-tag forms that show up on every lobby leaderboard.

Each result carries its own character count, so you can see which versions still fit before you spend a Name Change Card on one that does not.

Type a name and every one of the 67 styles below updates as you go. Each result shows how many characters it uses, measured the way Free Fire measures its own field.

Counted in Unicode characters, the same way this page counts them. Free Fire counts the nickname field at 12 characters, and a clan-tag frame spends two of them before your name starts.

How to Change Your Free Fire Name

  1. Copy a style

Type your name into the tool above and press Copy on the version you want. Check its character count first — anything over twelve will simply be refused by the game.

  2. Open your profile

From the lobby, tap the profile banner in the top-left corner. That opens your player card, with your current nickname across the top.

  3. Tap the pencil icon

The pencil sits directly beside your nickname. Tapping it opens the rename dialog with a text field and the cost of the change.

  4. Paste and confirm

Long-press the field, paste, and confirm. If a Name Change Card is in your inventory the game spends that; otherwise it charges 390 diamonds. The new name appears in the lobby immediately.

Widely acceptedFree Fire is the most permissive of the games here — decorative Unicode letters and the ornamental clan-tag frames both register in the nickname field.

What a Free Fire Rename Actually Costs

There are two prices, and most players pay the wrong one. Renaming straight from the profile dialog costs 390 diamonds. A Name Change Card does the same job, and the Guild Store sells one for 200 guild tokens — a currency you earn by playing with your guild rather than buying. Join or create a guild, open the store, and the card is there under the guild-token section.

Cards also arrive without being bought at all. They appear in event reward tracks, in seasonal shops, and as a friendship reward once you have played enough matches with the same friend. If you rename often, keeping one in the inventory is the difference between a free change and 390 diamonds.

One exception is worth knowing: a brand-new account gets its first nickname change free, so there is no reason to pay on a fresh profile.

Which Symbols Free Fire Accepts

Free Fire is unusually generous about what it will store in a nickname. The stylish letters this tool produces are not images or a custom font — they are real Unicode characters, so the game treats them the same way it treats an ordinary letter and other players see them exactly as you do.

That includes the framed forms. The ornamental brackets on either end of a clan tag are ordinary characters from the Javanese block, which is why they show up in the game at all and why they cost you two of your twelve. Bracket frames such as 【 】 and 「 」 behave the same way.

The practical limit is not what the game accepts but what it has room for. A twelve-character budget spent on a frame leaves ten for a name, and a combining style — strikethrough, underline — spends two characters per visible letter, so a six-letter name in that style already fills the field.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many characters can a Free Fire name be?

Twelve. The nickname field stops accepting input at twelve characters, and there is no upgrade or item that extends it. Every result in the generator above shows its own character count so you can see what fits before you pay.

Can I change my Free Fire name for free?

Yes, in two situations. A brand-new account gets its first nickname change free, and a Name Change Card bought from the Guild Store for 200 guild tokens costs no diamonds at all. Cards are also given out through events and friendship rewards.

Why does my copied name get rejected?

Almost always because it is too long. Framed and combining styles add characters that are easy to miss — each ornament on a clan tag is one character, and a strikethrough adds a hidden mark after every letter. Check the count shown beside each result and pick one at twelve or under.

Do stylish names work in Free Fire MAX too?

Yes. Free Fire and Free Fire MAX share one account and one nickname, so a name changed in either client shows up in both, with the same twelve-character limit.

Will other players see the same font I do?

In almost all cases, yes. These are standard Unicode characters rather than a custom font, so any device with a reasonably complete font set renders them. Very old handsets occasionally fall back to a plain box for the rarest symbols, which is worth keeping in mind if your squad plays on older phones.
